Did you miss last weeks benefits sessions? No worries! We will be holding two more sessions this week from 3 – 5 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, April 27th & 29th. These virtual benefits sessions are intended to inform you of all the changes for this year, as well as give you a debriefing on all the various benefits offered to you. No registration is necessary, just simply click on the link below at the time of the session that you would like to attend.

It is highly recommended that you attend at least one of these sessions. In case you are unavailable during these times, you can visit the self paced benefits course below. You will have from April 15th to May 8th to make your elections. This is the one time of year that you can make changes to your benefit elections outside of a life changing event. You are also able to re-enroll in any flexible spending accounts for the upcoming plan year. This is an active enrollment again this year, so it is important that you log into the benefits portal at www.ascemployeebenefits.com or call the ASC Benefits Center at (866) 507-7058 before May 8th during the hours of 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Failure to make your elections will result in a default to waive coverage for medical, dental, vision, and FSA’s. You can access and make changes to your 401(k) at any time of the year.
HR Digital Transformation
As many of you know, we are in the middle of a digital transformation. We started out two years ago slowly replacing our HR systems. Thus far we have replaced our time and labor system, our benefits system, and our applicant tracking system. The next stop on the roadmap is the HR database and payroll system. After nine months of significant behind the scenes work, we are moving to Kronos Dimensions this week.
How will this impact you?
- We will introduce the Employee Self-Service next week. That means that going forward you will be able to access your paycheck stub from anywhere there is an internet connection, as well as change your address, update your contact info, direct deposit info, and make changes to your tax amounts. That can be on your home computer or via the Kronos Dimensions app.
- There will be one website for your HR and timekeeping needs.
- Starting on May 14th, Paychecks will no longer be printed here but will come from Kronos Payroll Services. We will no longer print the direct deposit slips as well, you will be able to access via the website or app. Please note: this week’s paycheck will be distributed as normal.
We will be posting additional job aids on the employee portal should you need assistance in navigating the system. Stay tuned for notices on when we officially launch the Employee Self Service along with the link. Next stop, onboarding and manager self service set to roll out this summer!
